15/06/10 - The Milano team gear up for a busy summer, as Edward Frizzelle plans
two films - A 'film-noir' detective short, and a drama/thriller entitled 'A Break
in the Music'. Simon Jeffery is returning to Bedfordshire having finished
university and has ideas of his own too.
29/11/09 - The new 'Santa's Psychiatrist' subtitled 'Second Opinion' is completed and
is planned for release on the 11th December 2009 exactly 3 years after
the original. It is due to be released online on youtube and facebook. A
Myspace version is possible but unlikely.
01/10/09 - Work begins on a re-edit of popular 2006 film 'Santa's Psychiatrist'. The
new version has been commissioned after it was decided that the film
should be as copyright free as possible. The original edit is littered with
copyright music mainly from Jim Reeves. A wealth of deleted material has
also been unearthed which is likely to be included in the new version.

01/07/09 - Work begins on a new film 'Gateau'. The film is being written by Edward
Frizzelle and Simon Jeffery.
27/06/09 - After nearly a year with no updates we proud to announced the completion
of both 'Norman's Book' and '7 Day's of Plague'. A DVD release is likely to
follow shortly for both films so watch out for details, also keep and eye on
the Norman's Book profile page for festival and premiere updates.

10/07/08 - Filming of 'Norman's Book' is now complete and is in post-production. A
release date has not been confirmed. Although it is hoped that a premiere
around Christmas will be possible.
Simon Jeffery's '7 Days of Plague' has also wrapped and is currently being
edited for release in the near future.
01/06/08 - Simon Jeffery has delayed the production of 'Rainbow Nation' in favor of
new film '7 Days of Plague'.
29/12/07 - Chloe Skinner, Simon Jeffery, David Bass and Karl Becker have now
completed their scenes for 'Norman's Book'. It is hoped that filming
should be completed within another day.
28/12/07 - Long production 'Norman's Book' has begun filming again. All the original
cast has returned including David Bass. It is hoped that the filming will be
completed in the next few days. Shooting continued on the 18th
December.
19/12/07 - Simon Jeffery has taken over editing of 'Party at Burt's'. However he has
stated that it is unlikely that it will be finished in time for New Years Eve.
07/10/07 - Bio's updated and new ones added.
27/10/07 - Simon Jeffery has announced a new film titled 'Rainbow Nation'. The film
is likely to be shot over christmas during the final 'Norman's Book'
sessions.
22/10/07 - Milano Entertainment is gearing up for the release of 'Party at Burt's'. It will
temporarily be released on the internet over Youtube and Myspace towards
the christmas period. A DVD release will soon follow after that.

14/01/07 - Chloë Skinner has been annouced as the new April in Norman's Book'. It
is still undecided what will happen to Roxie Mahoney's footage.
Also Milano Entertainment has annouced that a third short film in the
recent 'minktrilogy' series will be filmed. The third one however will not be
released online.
05/01/07 - After having a massive hit with the 'Golden Era Collection' Milano
Entertainment has been asked to produce a short promotional video for
Redborne Upper School. Filming should be taking place next month with
equipment supplied by Stafford University.
04/01/07 - The short filming sessions have taken place for 'Norman's Book'. Milano
Entertainment can confirm that a new actress has been cast as April. The
new actress will be revealed at a later date.
01/01/07 - A short filming session has been confirmed for 'Norman's Book'. One
scene will be shot on the 1st and another full day session on the 4th of
Jan.
04/12/06 - New film to be released on the 10th of December '06. 'Santa's
Psychiatrist' written by David Bass and Edward Frizzelle stars Mark
Sheppard as Santa Clause. The film will be released under new
sub-company 'Bass/Frizzelle Productions'. Filming of 'Norman's Book' is
due to pick up shortly afterwards.
03/11/06 - A new film 'It's Genieous' has been completed and is due to be released
on the 6th of November. The film stars Edward Frizzelle and David Bass, it
features cameos from various other people.
04/10/06 - During the summer months Milano Entertainment began work on the
project 'Redborne Upper School Presents the Golden Era Collection', a
collection which includes all the school’s classic drama productions from
2000 to 2005. Each production has been given the first class treatment
and remastered onto DVD. New special features have been created for
each production as well. Details will be available soon on which titles are
to be included and how they can purchased.
02/10/06 - Filming for 'Norman's Book' will continue at Christmas.
02/09/06 - Milano Entertainment have released 3 promotional frames for the new
film 'Norman's Book'.
30/06/06 - Shooting for 'Norman's Book' will begin on the 1st of August.
11/06/06 - The script for 'Norman's Book' has been completed. Pre-production will
begin soon.
07/06/06 - The new festival edit of 'Finch' has been selected for screening at the 'Co-
Operative Film Festival 2006' in October. This will mark the second time a
Milano Entertainment film has been screened at the event. In 2004 an
extract from 'Agents of Destruction' was screened.
01/06/06 - A new edit of 'Finch' is to be entered into the 'Co-Operative Film Festival'
along with a music video for 'The Doyles'.
19/05/06 - A new teaser poster for 'Norman's Book' has been released. Head over to

16/05/06 - The screenplay for 'Norman's Book' is well on its way. No decisions on
casting have been made yet. However David Bass and Chris Malone will
be scoring the final film.
14/05/06 - Simon Jeffery's 'The Superficial Life of James Jones' has been put on hold
due to complications. David Bass has stated that they may pick up
production later in the year.
10/02/06 - New film confirmed: 'Norman's Book'. Screenplay in the works. 'The Art of
Justice' has been turned into a radio play. It will be released soon.
19/01/06 - Simon Jeffery will be writing the Jungle Run remake. So far the story will
follow the same structure but be expanded. No news on when he will
begin writing. In other news, the 'Agents of Destruction' special edition edit
has been delayed due to lack of certain post-production equipment and
some lost raw footage.
18/01/06 - Several films have been confirmed for 2006. Filming has started on 'The
Superficial Life of James Jones'. Hawk Eye's cameras are being used.
25/11/05 - Due to technical problems some of the film trailers cannot be
downloaded.
In other news, It looks like 'The Will' remake probably wont not happen.
Instead another series of 'The Oi Mate Show' is being planned to test out
Hawk Eye's new technology.
09/11/05 - A remake of 'The Will' has been announced. The film, if it goes ahead will
be shot over Christmas. MC Homicide will still feature along with new
character PAZ
08/11/05 - New Milano Entertainment website up and running. Since switching sites
the following news has happened:
- Simon Jeffery has taken a year out to write two films 'The Superficial Life
of James Jones' and 'Wide Eyed Sleeper'. The first will be directed by
David Bass and starring Simon Jeffery. Edward Frizzelle is not confirmed
for either production.
- After deep discussion between Simon Jeffery and Edward Frizzelle a new
edit of 'Agents of Destruction' will be produced. It will include some newly
shot footage and some rare unseen takes from the original shoot.
- Edward Frizzelle and David Bass are currently writing a play
under the working title of 'Magic America' Colin Woodward and Cara
Davies are confirmed to feature in it.
- It looks as if all future productions will be in conjuction with Hawk Eye
Entertainment.
- New film 'Modern Cowboys' completed. The film marks the return of David
Bass in a Milano Entertainment film. It was produced in conjuction with
Hawk Eye Entertainment.
- After months and months of delay, the Redborne Upper School Talent
Show took place. It premiered 3 videos produced by Milano Entertainment
and featured Edward Frizzelle as a host and Simon Jeffery as the ' VJ'
